About the programme
A programme of ground-breaking sacred and secular repertoire by female composers, curated by Barbara Law.
Featuring rising stars from the Royal Academy of Music Junior Department Alma Nunez Debretzeni, Natasha Freedman, Hassan Marzban, Joseph Sainsbury with Adam Chillingworth.
Using recorders, violin, voice and keyboards, these young musicians take you on a journey spanning ten centuries of innovative music as they explore plainchant, improvisation and the birth of virtuosic works alongside reflective and frenetic contemporary pieces.
Plus a token male composer!
