LIFEM

All Saints, Fulham

The Parish Choir of All Saints Church, Fulham sings for the 10.30am Eucharist and 6pm Evensong Sunday services at the church, and is regarded as one of the best choirs of its type in the country. At these services it performs a wide range of music, both popular cathedral-style repertoire and more unusual music – from striking South American baroque works to South African choral dances and new commissions by contemporary composers.

In addition to these sung services, the choir also sings on other occasions – from the top of the church tower on Ascension Day, at the dawn Vigil on Easter Sunday, and for numerous carol services and concerts. In recent years they have broadcast live on BBC1 (Christmas Day) and Radio 4. They also tour Britain and abroad, most recently visiting Ely, Bury St Edmunds, Lincoln, Wells, Chichester, Ireland, Canterbury, Winchester, Durham and France among many others. They have hosted workshops with Andrew Nethsingha, (Westminster Abbey, St John’s College, Cambridge), Martin Neary (Westminster Abbey, Winchester Cathedral), Stephen Jackson (BBC Symphony Chorus) and David Hill, (BBC Singers, St John’s College, Cambridge). Entry is by audition with the director of music; he is always keen to hear from interested singers in all voice parts.
